EuroArt Plus may be used safely for food packaging. It may stand in direct contact with dry and fatty foodstuffs. Furthermore, EuroArt Plus may be safely used for the manufacture and packaging of toys as far as its heavy metals content is concerned.

White Kraft packaging paper laminated with extruded polyethylene (LDPE), or EuroArt Plus ream wrapper; recyclable.

Raw Materials

Fibre Production

The timber for the pulp that is produced in-house is taken from thinnings and left-over wood from local forest conservation programmes, as well as waste wood from regional saw mills.

Fillers

The natural products of chalk and clay are used.

Material Composition

100% prime fibres (pulp and internal recycling).

Production Process

• Highly effective biological waste water treatment for optimal effluent cleansing
• Water cycles are largely closed
• State of the art smoke gas cleaning facilities
• Production is controlled by a process management system.

Environment and Product Recycling

• It is M-real's policy to only use wood which comes from sustainably managed commercial forests. The wood for the production of EuroArt Plus comes from forests with economically viable, environmentally appropriate and socially beneficial management. This is certified under the PEFC system.
• M-real Hallein and M-real Stockstadt are certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, DIN EN ISO 14001:1996 and EMAS.
• The Paper Profile documents all environmentally relevant parameters including the wood origin.
• EuroArt Plus is fully recyclable, with no harmful residue.
