Board of Directors
M-real's Board of Directors has currently nine ordinary members: Kari Jordan (Chairman); Mikael Aminoff, M.Sc. (Forestry); Martti Asunta (Vice Chairman); Kirsi Komi, LL.M.; Kai Korhonen M. Sc (Technology); Liisa Leino M. Edu.; Juha Niemelä (Honorary Councellor); Antti Tanskanen (Minister) and Erkki Varis M.Sc. (Technology).

Corporate Management Team
In M-real’s operative management, the CEO is assisted by the Corporate Management Team, which consists of Mikko Helander, CEO (Chairman); Matti Mörsky, CFO; and senior vice presidents Pasi Piiparinen, Paperboard (as of 20.3.2012); Seppo Puotinen, Paper and Pulp; Sari Pajari, Supply Chain and Business Development; Mika Paljakka, Human Resources and Jani Suomalainen, Procurement.
The Corporate Management Team’s tasks and responsibilities include investment planning, specifying and preparing the company’s strategic guidelines, allocating resources, controlling routine functions and preparing matters to be reviewed by the Board.
