M-real’s board and paper products are intended and designed to be recycled. In Europe, for instance, paper is presently the most recycled product with a recycling rate of 64.5 per cent (www.cepi.org).
All M-real’s board and papers are 100 per cent recyclable. Our products are produced from superior fibre material and thus offer high recycling durability. They can also be incinerated for energy recovery or composted at the end of their life-cycle.
Our products are mainly made of primary wood fibre and are, therefore, safe for use even in demanding applications, such as food packaging. Recycled fibre is, however, used in products in which it is a suitable raw material and in the mills that have the easiest access to the recycled fibre raw material. For instance, M-real’s mill in Alizay, France, produces office papers of recycled fibre.
